The SE-B5.440.030-00.015 is an IP65 industrial servo motor designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to support several industrial applications. During operation, this industrial motor is able to maintain a constant speed of about 3000 revolutions per minute even while it is being exposed to various load conditions; the motor also maintains an efficiency measured to be about 95 per cent during its synchronous operation. The enclosure of this servo motor is made from a strong metallic material that can comfortably withstand both solid and liquid contamination. The motor housing is also painted with a prime black coat that is resistant to most corrosive liquids such as dilute acids, dilute alkali, salts, and mineral oils. The output shaft present in this servo motor features a keyway and feather key; this shaft is also supported by long-lasting lubrication. The minimum service life of the integrated ball bearings is about 20,000 power on hours.

The SE-B5.440.030-00.015 industrial frequency converter communicates with drive controllers through a tacho feedback cable; apart from the feedback cable, there is also a power cable that supplies the motor with the electric power it requires for operation.
