Product Description:
The SE-B5.320.020-14.000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. In industrial automation, the unit converts drive commands from a compatible controller into precise rotary motion, allowing machine axes to accelerate, decelerate, and hold position under feedback control. Its internal tachogenerator supplies an analog speed signal, so the drive can close velocity loops without an external encoder.
The motor delivers a peak output of 90 Nm when coupled to the SM 35/70 drive stage, and its continuous operating point is reached at a nominal speed of 2000 rpm. From standstill, it reaches that rated speed in 45 ms, a short ramp-up interval that supports fast indexing tasks. Mechanical mounting uses a 180 mm square flange pattern, allowing direct connection to gearboxes or machine frames with matching pilot diameters. When the integrated holding brake is fitted, the total mass increases to 37 kg, which must be considered when sizing vertical axes and selecting counterbalances. The brake extension also increases the overall length to 387 mm. No additional wiring is required because the brake coil is routed through the main stator connector.
The aluminum housing has an IP65 ingress protection rating, so the internal windings are protected against dust and low-pressure water jets encountered on packaging or food-processing lines. Output power is transmitted through a 32 mm keyed shaft, and the mating face includes a 58 mm shaft length for secure coupling engagement. The motor withstands shocks up to 6 g, helping maintain servo performance during machine impacts or transportation. Acoustic emissions remain below 58 dB(A), which helps control factory noise levels. A connection cross-section of 6.0 mm² supports low-loss stator current delivery. Voltage ripple is limited to 1.5%, and the tachogenerator constant of 2.7 V per 1000 rpm provides a linear feedback signal to the drive electronics.
