Product Description:
The SE-B4.210.050-10.019 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts electrical energy into precise rotary motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, and similar automation axes. Mounted through a rigid flange, the motor forms the mechanical link between a drive controller and the machine load, while an integrated tachogenerator supplies speed feedback for closed-loop control in demanding industrial environments.
Under stall conditions the motor delivers a static torque of 18 Nm. Continuous operation remains possible at its rated speed of 5000 rpm. A torque constant of 0.64 Nm/A ties command current to output torque, so the drive must supply about 28 A at standstill; acceleration bursts can rise to 174 A. Winding inductance of 3.3 mH and a resistance of 0.27 Ω set the electrical time constant and heating profile. The 142 mm square flange simplifies mounting, and the Ø24 × 50 mm shaft is supplied without a keyway for clamp couplings. Rotor inertia of 4.98 × 10⁻³ kg·m² balances fast response with load stability, while the tachogenerator produces 1.8 V per 1000 rpm for the speed loop. A 32-minute thermal time constant indicates how quickly the frame temperature rises during duty cycles.
The back-generated voltage reaches 68 V/1000 rpm, allowing the drive to predict regenerative energy during deceleration. Environmental sealing is provided by the IP67 housing, which protects windings and bearings when the motor is exposed to airborne coolant. With a mass of 22.0 kg, the frame tolerates cyclic overloads before reaching insulation limits. The winding set is supported by a 3.3 mH inductance and 0.27 Ω resistance network, and the absence of a shaft keyway minimizes stress concentrations at high speed while the 142 mm flange keeps installation consistent across the SE series.
