Product Description:
The SE-B4.130.030-14.037 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. Delivered in the IM B5 construction form, it mounts as a flange-fitted unit for direct coupling to gearboxes or driven equipment. In factory automation cells, the motor supplies programmable torque and speed so that positioning axes, pick-and-place units, or indexing tables can follow drive commands with millisecond accuracy.
Its mechanical interface includes a 130 mm centering pilot on a 142 mm square flange, ensuring concentric alignment when the motor is seated against the machine frame. Power is transmitted through a solid shaft with a diameter of 24 mm. The shaft extends 50 mm beyond the bearing face and is supplied without a keyway to accommodate shrink-fit or clamping couplings. The housing pattern follows the IM B5 layout, so only the flange bolts carry radial and axial loads. The winding reaches a rated speed of 3000 rpm while drawing a standstill current of 15 A, providing the drive with a clear baseline for thermal modeling. The brake draws a nominal current of 1.0 A and adds 1.7 kg of mass and 0.90 × 10⁻³ kg·m² of inertia to the rotor assembly.
The holding brake uses a 24 V DC control line and releases when it is energized. When the brake is de-energized, it provides a continuous holding torque of 18 Nm to help prevent shaft movement while the axis is stopped. Once the brake is released, the motor can produce short torque bursts of up to 27.6 Nm when paired with the SM 17/35 drive stage. The sealed stator housing has an IP67 rating, protecting the motor against dust ingress and temporary immersion. This protection permits installation on washdown stations or external axes where the housing may be exposed to water and airborne contaminants.
