The SE-B4.090.030-10.037 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts commanded current from a drive into precise rotary motion for indexing tooling, following cam profiles, or holding a fixed position. Permanent-magnet excitation and feedback from the drive system support accurate velocity and torque regulation in packaging machines, electronic assembly lines, and other industrial automation equipment. The motor is suited to applications that require controlled acceleration, repeatable positioning, and stable operation under changing loads.
The motor produces a standstill torque of 9.0 Nm and operates at a rated shaft speed of 3000 rpm. Its electromagnetic design provides a torque constant of 0.87 Nm/A, allowing the drive to regulate mechanical output through the supplied current. Transient operating demands are supported by a peak phase current of 62 A, while the acceleration time from standstill to synchronous speed is 45 ms. Thermal losses are moderated by a winding resistance of 1.92 ohms. The motor attaches through a 142 mm flange, and drive torque exits through a plain shaft measuring 24 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length. The shaft does not have a keyway, so the connected coupling must be suitable for a plain shaft. Field wiring requires an external cable set because the mating connector is not included with the motor.
A maximum short-term torque of 17.3 Nm is available for rapid positioning movements. The motor has a standstill current of 10 A, and its rotor inertia is 2.18 × 10⁻³ kg·m². Back electromotive force increases with speed at a voltage constant of 97 V/1000 rpm, which must be considered when selecting a compatible drive and planning the DC-bus voltage margin. Current changes during commutation are moderated by a stator inductance of 16.1 mH. This inductance helps stabilize the current control loop and reduce rapid current fluctuations during motor operation.
