Product Description:
The SE-B4.090.030-00.101 is a synchronous servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. In automated machinery, it delivers closed-loop rotary motion so drive controllers can position loads with repeatable accuracy. Its rotor and stator design support feedback devices that read speed from the motor’s tacho voltage, allowing a CNC, robot, or packaging axis to follow programmed motion profiles without mechanical gear changes.
The motor reaches a nominal operating speed of 3000 rpm, making it suitable for medium-speed tool spindles and feed axes. A static torque of 9.0 Nm allows the energized motor to hold workpieces against gravity or cutting forces while the shaft is stationary. During acceleration, the power stage may draw up to 62 A, which must be considered when selecting a compatible inverter and power cable. Each ampere of current produces approximately 0.87 Nm/A of torque. At rated speed, the internal back EMF reaches 97 V/1000 rpm, which helps determine the voltage capacity required from the connected drive. An electrical time constant of 8.2 ms supports responsive current regulation, while the tacho generator supplies 2.7 V per 1000 rpm for velocity feedback.
The rotor has a moment of inertia of 2.18 × 10⁻³ kg·m², balancing fast directional changes with smooth load coupling. Heat accumulates gradually because the motor has a thermal time constant of 28 min, allowing it to tolerate brief intermittent loads without immediate thermal derating. The laminated stack has a winding inductance of 16.1 mH, which affects current ripple during operation. Its winding resistance is 1.92 Ω, contributing to the motor’s copper losses under load. The Ø24 × 50 mm shaft is machined for a feather key measuring A8 × 7 × 40 and fits gearboxes through a seal collar with a diameter of Ø125.4 h9. The assembly centers in an 8.9 mm flange recess, while a size 124-3 O-ring seats against the housing to preserve enclosure integrity.
