Product Description:
The SE-B2.030.030-14.037 synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SE Synchronous Servo Motors series. In automated cells, it couples to a digital drive to translate electrical commands into accurate shaft motion for indexing tables, small gantries, and auxiliary spindles. The unit employs a permanent-magnet rotor, stator windings, and embedded feedback so machine builders can integrate fast position loops without adding external sensors. Its integrated feedback also supports stable speed regulation during repeated starts, stops, and direction changes.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, giving a balance between cycle time and mechanical stress on connected loads. A static torque of 4.0 Nm indicates how much load can be held without movement when current is applied, which is important for vertical axes. Mechanical attachment follows the IM B5 flange pattern, allowing direct face mounting to gearboxes or frames. The built-in tacho generator provides 2.7 V/1000 rpm, supplying analog speed feedback for drives that use voltage-based velocity loops. Internally powered sensors require a supply of ±15 V DC, so the control cabinet must furnish that regulated rail alongside the main power lines. An M5 centering hole aids concentric alignment, and the maximum noise level of 58 dB(A) helps characterize acoustic output during operation.
Long-term service expectations are supported by a bearing life of 20,000 h under rated conditions, reducing unplanned downtime. The optional holding brake engages when 24 V DC is applied, keeping loads stationary during power loss or maintenance cycles. A flange diameter of 95 mm standardizes the mounting interface, and the assembly tolerates shocks up to 6 g, enabling installation on mobile or vibration-prone equipment. The motor uses a 14 mm smooth shaft extended to 30 mm and supplied without a keyway, so it is suited to clamp collars or shrink-fit hubs. A shaft seal helps minimize lubricant escape during high-duty operation.
