The SD-B5.250.015-00.000 model works with the SM 17/35-T servo module, KM 1100-T capacitor module, and supply module in order to set up a functional installation. The supply module provides various supply voltages for logic and drives circuits and the servo module helps in controlling the speed and torque of the motor. The SD-B motor has a supply voltage of 4.5-32V and an output voltage of 350 mA. The SM 17/35-T servo module operates at the DC link voltage of 460V supplied through the L+ and L- terminals of the supply module. The inverter module is designed to operate at the rated current of 17 A with a peak current of 35 A for 2 seconds. The inverter module uses forced ventilation through a DC 24V blower which operates at 100 mA current to overcome the high effect generated during the power loss of 150 W. The rotor position encoder and tacho voltage are used in the motor to convert the angular position to analog and digital output signals.

The model SD-B5.250.015-00.000 can take connection through U2, V2, and W2 terminals of the inverter. The 3 resistors of 3.3 Ohm resistance with the minimum energy of 293 W are used in every module with the maximum connection size of 4 mm2 to overcome any trouble in case of short-circuiting. The optional 24V DC diagnostics module helps in fast fault diagnosis with 8 different diagnostic signals at LED display.  The PSU fault, module fault, communication fault, and tacho fault are displayed in red light while the other 4 faults are displayed by yellow light. The modules are mounted in switch cabinets having a protection class of IP 54 or IP 44 and the SD-B5.250.015-00.000 model operates ideally between the temperature ranges of 0 to +45 degree Celsius at the maximum altitude of 1000 meters above the sea level.
