The SE311 is a compact control submodule supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for integration within the SB System Box Units series. It provides local input and output processing, program storage, and serial communication within an industrial control cabinet. Localized logic and digital signaling reduce the amount of wiring routed to a higher-level PLC and support faster data exchange in distributed automation systems. The narrow design also allows multiple modules to be installed in panel layouts where rail space is limited.
The module has an overall height of 271 mm, a width of 25.55 mm, and a depth of 285 mm. Its mass is 1.4 kg, which limits the additional load placed on the cabinet assembly.
