The LT303 system box is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SB System Box Units series. It is a drive and control module designed to operate one or two EC motor tightening spindles in automated assembly cells. By consolidating power electronics, parameter memory, and field wiring inside a sealed housing, the unit simplifies installation and provides consistent torque delivery across multiple production stations. The LT303 contains a size 3 (2) amplifier, allowing it to drive EC motors mounted in spindle sizes BG 2 and BG 3 without an external power stage. When a BG 2 spindle is connected, the BT300 bus can supply up to 7 A, while a BG 3 spindle can draw 14 A for higher torque requirements. A single controller-link cable distributes both power and communication signals over a distance of 100 m, so the box may be mounted away from the tightening head without losing signal integrity.
