Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat supplies the RZP01.1-T3 option module as part of the RZP Option Modules series. This board expands a drive controller with mixed-signal inputs and outputs, allowing closed-loop regulation, setpoint injection, and status monitoring directly at the control backplane. In industrial automation, it can replace external signal conditioners, reducing panel space and latency between field transducers and motion axes.
The card contains 1 analog input that uses a differential topology and is non-floating, so its reference is tied to internal ground potential and shield routing is simplified in multi-axis cabinets. This channel has a 10-bit current input resolution, providing suitable detail for temperature, pressure, or position feedback. For discrete sensing, the board offers 4 digital inputs. Command signals can be returned through four digital outputs, and these channels use floating isolation on the digital outputs, allowing them to switch external loads without creating ground loops. Debounce filtering is integrated on the input side, and the output drivers use low-side switching so that standard sourcing sensors and actuators can be connected without rewiring.
Analog actuation is handled by 2 analog outputs, each with 9-bit analog output resolution. Each channel can deliver up to 0.5 A maximum output current per channel, and the overall limit is 1 A, so the stage can pull low-impedance devices down to the specified 500 Ω load resistance without saturating its internal regulators. The outputs support voltage or current mode selection through controller parameters, letting a single module energize proportional valves, speed references, or metering transducers. Internal rails of +5 V and +15 V power the output amplifiers, so no auxiliary supply is needed. The assembly is 87 mm wide and 100 mm long, and it is built for use in control cabinets that meet 3K3 environmental class conditions, where temperatures and dust levels are moderate.
