The RZP01.1-T1 option module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for its RZP Option Modules series. It is mounted on the controller backplane to extend low-voltage signal handling for drive-based automation. Once in place, the board lets a motion system read process feedback, deliver proportional commands, and drive auxiliary coils or indicators directly, removing the need for separate interface hardware in compact machine cabinets. Because the module shares the controller's diagnostic bus, all additional channels report their status through the same engineering tool, keeping channel monitoring in one place.

On the analog side, the card provides two current source outputs rated for 0–20 mA, each stable into a load of 500 Ω or less. Incoming process signals are accepted through one differential input that is digitized with a resolution of 10 bit, while outgoing setpoints are rendered with a 9 bit converter for deterministic loop control. Four channels are reserved as floating digital inputs, allowing potential-free connection to limit switches or photoelectric sensors. Hardware addressing is determined by its dedicated Module Slot 2 location, so the controller automatically maps every channel without manual parameter entry. The 100 × 87 mm footprint matches the depth profile of adjoining drive modules, keeping airflow unobstructed.

For onboard power switching, the RZP01.1-T1 carries four relay outputs arranged as two normally open and two changeover contacts. Each contact can handle continuous loads up to 60 W, with a peak switching capability of 2 A at circuit potentials not exceeding 30 V AC/DC. Reliable operation is supported down to a minimum wetting current of 10 µA at 10 mV DC, which suits micro-signal tasks such as feedback enable lines. The assembly is qualified for 3K3, meaning it tolerates moderate humidity, vibration, and airborne contaminants typical of industrial control cabinets. Physical isolation provided by the relays supplements the solid-state I/O channels, giving designers a mixed-signal interface within a single option board.
