The RZM02.1-6-008 is a new generation industrial motor filter designed high highly trained operators of Rexroth Indramat to protect the industrial motors from the damage that can be caused by the influx of excess electrical voltage generated by the frequency converter. This device is an environmentally friendly device that does not generate a high amount of noise during operation. The filter is also manufactured with materials that contain a high metal content; thus, it can be recycled and used in the production of other industrial devices once its usefulness has been exhausted. The installation of the RZM02.1-6-008 mains filter is cost-efficient since the protection offered by the filter helps industrial motors last longer; thus, operators no longer need to speed money on frequent motor repairs. The RZM02.1-6-008 motor filter is manufactured with a housing unit that meets the IP10 protection class and can thus prevent the penetration of solid materials with an external diameter larger than 50 millimeters from interfering with the smooth operation of the filter.

Under normal operating conditions, the RZM02.1-6-008 can operate at an efficiency as high as 95 percent for more than five years without breaking down. The connecting voltage used by this mains filter is about 300 to 400 volts, while the rated current is about 8 amperes. The maxium permissible length for the wiring connection of this industrial controller is about 300 meters; however, if the cable is properly shilded, then the maximum permissible length is reduced to about 150 meters.

The RZM02.1-6-008 is about 275 miliemeters long, and 140 millimeters wide. The enclosure designed for this filter offers no protection against liquid substances; thus, operators should ensure the filter is installed in a control cabinet that meets the IP56 protection class.
