The RZM01.1-5-130 motor filter is a protective device designed by Rexroth Indramat to reduce to harmless levels the excess voltage generated by steep switching flanks for modern pulse frequency converters. This filter also reduces the leakage current generated in the industrial servo system, thus reducing the risk of electrical accidents. The RZM01.1-5-130 main filter provides servo systems used industrial machines with a lot of advantages, some of which include the ability to operate servo motors with long supply lines or many parallel motor lines, the reduction of the interfering voltage of motor lines, and the limitation of unexpected power surges in the industrial servo system. The RZM01.1-5-130 motor filter is durable; it features a housing unit that meets the IP20 protection class and can withstand the penetration of large solid materials.

The RZM01.1-5-130 motor filter receives electrical energy through the three-phase electrical connector integrated into its housing unit; this connector allows the filter to receive the high electrical density it requires for optimal operation. The nominal voltage used by this frequency converter is about 500 volts, while the rated connecting current can be as high as 130 Amperes. The RZM01.1-5-130 frequency converter can be operated with a frequency converter that operates with two different paulse frequencies; 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz. At the pulse frequency of 4 kilohertz, the maximum output frequency of the motor filter is 200 hertz while the maximum line length is 120 meters; however, at 8 kilohertz, the maximum output frequency of the filter is about 100 kilohertz while the maximum line length is about 200 meters.
