The RZM01.1-5-008 is Bosch Rexroth motor filter rated for maximum 8 Amps current at 500 Volts AC input. The RZM series of motor filters is designed for use with Rexroth RD 500 converters and drives and is available in 380 to 480 AC / 500 Volts AC ratings. The maximum current ratings supported by the RZM series of filters range from 8 Amps to 520 Amps for 500 Volts AC input and 10 Amps to 350 Amps for 380 to 480 Volts AC input. A type label is available on every filter shipped by Bosch. This label lists the filter type code, the nominal voltage, pulse frequencies and maximum line lengths supported by the respective pulse frequencies. The RZM01.1-5-008 filter can be used for converters with a pulse frequency of 4 to 8 kilohertz.

The pulse frequency is converter using parameter P0026 on the drive converter. The filter can be used with converters rated for 1.5 / 3.0 / 4.0 / 5.5 kilowatts. The nominal filter current at 8 kilohertz is 6 Amps, the maximum line length is 120 meters and the peak output frequency is 200 Hertz. The nominal filter current at 4 kilohertz is 8 Amps, the maximum line length is 200 meters and the peak output frequency is 100 Hertz. During operation 140 Watts of power is dissipated as heat. Filters such as the RZM01.1-5-008 are recommended to be used at the motor input to protect the motor from transient voltages caused by lengthy motor lines and switching flanks of modern pulse converters. Filters such as the RZM01.1-5-008 reduce the transient voltages and allow use of length motor lines. The RZM01.1-5-008 should be handled by trained personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
