The RD 500 drive control system is known for its ability to control speed and position with reliable accuracy when used with synchronous and induction motors. The device can be significantly expanded with modular plug-in cards and supports freely combinable technology functions. The model also features PI controller, PID, AND, OR, XOR D latch, and RS flipflop. It comes with different mathematical function elements, comparators, timers, and ramp function generators. The drive controller has a 4-line graphical display and a removable user panel with parameter copy function. It supports various interfaces that allow users to monitor, control, and parameterize the drive system. These interfaces include RS 232 / RS 485, Sercos, Interfbus S, CAN bus, and Profibus DP interfaces. The drive controller also supports peer-to-peer coupling for fast communication between multiple drives.
The RZE02.1-5-015 is a reliable EMC filter that is embedded in the RS 500 drive control system. With a maximum line voltage of 500 V (with a 10 V tolerance), the EMC filter has an operating frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The ideal external temperature for this model’s usage is in all areas that have a maximum ambient temperature of 40 ᵒC. The drive control system has complete noise immunity that is in accordance with the EN 50082-2 standards. The EMC filter provides the necessary electromagnetic immunity to the drive control system and protects it from interference signals that can disrupt the functioning of drive circuitry. The device also has the capability to reduce harmonics that are fed back into the supply line. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
