The Bosch RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23 is an accessory module for RD 500 drives. Specifically it is a chemistry module. The module supplements RD 500 drives for the process and chemical industries. The module can be mounted in-line without any intermediate clearance. Housing dimensions of the chemistry modules and RD 500 drives are the same. For this reason the chemistry modules can be mounted adjacent to, below or above the RD 500 drives. Bosch recommends 125 millimeters of minimum vertical spacing when the module is mounted above or below the drive. The RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23 is designed for three-phase AC and is compatible with AC mains operating at 500 Volts AC. Power rating of the frequency converter with which the RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23 is compatible is 7.5 kilowatts. Current rating of the chemistry module is 14 Amps. The peak output frequency is 100 Hertz.

Shielded motor cables of up to 200 meters’ length can be used with the module. The size class of the module is B: the module height is 150 millimeters, the module width is 135 millimeters and the module depth is 300 millimeters. Drilling templates are provided in the product manual. M6-size screws are recommended for module installation. Bosch recommends that the module should be installed in the vertical orientation inside a IP23 rated industrial cabinet. The RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23 is available without a NAMUR terminal strip.  Support for external 24 Volt stand-by power is available on the RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23. Only trained and qualified personnel should handle and install the module and associated devices. Only original spare parts and accessories should be used. Use of substandard accessories and spare parts can affect device reliability. Working temperature range of the RZC01.2-5N-011-F-23 is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
