The Bosch RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 is a chemistry module for Rexroth RD 500 drive systems. It can be ordered as an accessory for the drive systems. The chemistry module is installed close to the drive to which it is connected. The terminals for the drive connection are on the top side of the module front panel. Bosch recommends vertical mounting of the module on a flat surface inside a IP23 rated cabinet. The cooling air requirements of all devices installed in the cabinet should be calculated and the cabinet cooling should be appropriately dimensioned. The drilling templates are provided in the RD 500 accessories manual. Two M6 size screws are required for mounting of the module. When mounted adjacent to a drive or other module, a horizontal spacing is not required. However when mounted above or below a drive or other module, Bosch recommends a minimum spacing of 125 millimeters.

This spacing is required to ensure the smooth flow of air that is required for cooling. The RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 connects with AC mains at 400 Volts AC. A NAMUR strip is not available on the module. The RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 can be used with 5.5 kilowatts rated RD 500 drives. Because of the built-in sinusoidal filter, the RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 is designed for operation at pulse frequencies that are greater than 8 kilohertz. Use of pulse frequencies that are smaller than 8 kilohertz can damage the module. The RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 comes with pre-loaded firmware. For the RZC01.1-6N-007-N-23 module, the maximum drive converter output frequency is 100 Hertz. The ambient temperature range for optimal module operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Operation of the module outside this range will cause the performance to deviate from the rated specifications. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
