The Bosch Rexroth RZC01.1-5T-011-V-23 is a chemistry module. It is designed for use with RD 500 drive converters and can ordered as an accessory if required. The module is designed for three-phase AC input at nominal voltage of 500 Volts. The RZC01.1-5T-011-V-23 is compatible with RD 500 drives with 7.5 kilowatts power rating. As the converter has dimensions that are similar to the those of RD 500 drives, it can be mounted adjacent to the drives: in such deployments horizontal spacing is not required. However, when mounted below a compatible drive, Bosch recommends a minimum vertical separation of 125 millimeters. This separation is required to ensure the smooth flow of air that is needed for convection cooling. Furthermore, Bosch recommends that the chemistry module should be mounted vertically in a cabinet with minimum protection rating of IP23.

The RZC01.1-5T-011-V-23 comes with a NAMUR-Terminal strip: this strip and its functions are divided into a standard part and an optional part.  The terminals on the terminal strip can be accessed from the front side of the module. The terminals for motor / line power terminals are also accessible on the front side of the module as are the terminals for the converter connection. Bosch chemistry modules are designed to supplement AC drives for applications in the process and chemical industries. The chemistry module and compatible RD 500 drives conform to NAMUR recommendations. The temperature range for drive storage is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. The temperature range for drive operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity should not exceed 90% and condensation is not permitted. Only qualified personnel should install the module and associated machinery. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
