The RND01.1-5-007 is a mains choke designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RND Three Phase Mains Chokes series. The component is inserted on the line side of servo drives or variable-frequency drives to raise supply impedance, damp line-to-line harmonics, and limit peak currents during network disturbances. By decreasing the slope of the current rise, the choke protects DC link capacitors, mitigates conducted radio-frequency noise, and contributes to the overall electromagnetic compatibility of an automated production cell.

The device handles a 3-phase AC network and presents an inductance of 0.39 mH, producing the required voltage drop to smooth current without excessive power loss. It is rated for a continuous line current of 20 A, so drives drawing up to that level can be connected without derating. With a permissible line voltage of 500 V, the choke matches common 400 V class distribution systems that may experience short excursions, and its iron core remains unsaturated within this range. A rated frequency of 50/60 Hz supports worldwide mains standards. Power conductors can be terminated with 6 mm² ferrule wires or 10 mm² single wires, and a separate 10 mm² ground terminal provides the required protective bonding path.

Thermal and mechanical limits describe suitable mounting conditions. Operation is allowed up to 40 °C ambient, provided natural convection is not obstructed. The housing carries an IP20 degree of protection that prevents accidental finger contact yet requires installation inside a switchgear enclosure. Network voltages may rise by up to +10% without exceeding the insulation rating, which helps preserve inductance linearity and limit core heating. At 3.3 kg, the choke adds minimal mass to DIN-rail assemblies while still offering a low-impedance path for common-mode noise.
