The RLC1-015BAB power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RLC1 Motor Power Cables series. It carries drive output to ML3 servo motors and returns protective earth in compact handling robots, conveyors, and packaging modules. It is suitable for dynamic cable chains and for the mechanical demands of IndraDrive installations. Its construction supports moving machine sections where reliable power transfer is required during repeated axis travel.

Its conductor set follows a 4x L + 2x 0.14 mm² layout that separates the motor power conductors from the temperature-sensor pair. The outer sheath is molded from PUR (Orange RAL 2003), giving abrasion and oil resistance suited to factory floors. Leakage capacitance is limited to 0.4 nF/m, so connected IndraDrive, IndraDrive C, or IndraDrive Mi controllers can regulate current without excessive reactive effects. With a nominal diameter of 12.2 mm, the cable occupies little cabinet space while maintaining insulation clearance. At the motor end, an M23 circular connector provides quick coupling to ML3 housings, and the drive side is prepared for standard spring-clamp terminals. The assembly uses a basic cable design and remains CFC-free, halogen-free, and silicone-free for use in controlled production environments.

Thermal performance supports continuous duty, with fixed routing allowing conductor temperatures up to +90 °C and moving applications limited to +80 °C. Installation guidelines call for a minimum bend radius of 5 × D when the cable is clamped in place and 7.5 × D for flex cycles inside drag chains. These bend limits help reduce conductor stress during repeated motion. The combination of temperature capability and flexible routing makes the cable suitable for multi-axis systems with constant movement.
