Product Description:
The RLB2-124KEB is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It carries three-phase power from a drive amplifier to a synchronous motor in automated machinery. By combining a shielded power core with integrated signal pairs, the cable maintains voltage integrity over long drag-chain runs and provides the electrical path required for controlled acceleration, positioning, and braking in industrial automation.
Designed for dynamic routing, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles and may be installed in continuously moving cable carriers. Its PUR jacket is colored RAL 2003 and resists oil and weld spatter while keeping the outside diameter at 29.8 mm. A stranded copper core has a cross-sectional area of 25 mm². The cable carries motor power with a voltage rating of 600/1000 V for line-to-ground and line-to-line operation. During operation, the conductor temperature can reach 90 °C without degrading the insulation. When motion is required, the cable can bend to a radius of 7.5 × D; this dynamic limit helps prevent shield fracture and preserve signal quality. The internal layout follows the basic design category for the series.
For stationary routing, a minimum bending radius of 5 × D is sufficient, reducing cabinet space while remaining within the cable’s mechanical strain limits. Low-level feedback conductors inside the same sheath have an insulation rating of 450/750 V, allowing encoder or brake signals to share the assembly without separate ducts. The motor end terminates in an E (M50) terminal box, matching the gland plate on supported MS2(X) servo motors. The cable belongs to the Rexroth Cables product group and connects directly to ctrlX DRIVE inverters. This connection provides a dedicated power and signal path between the controller and compatible MS2(X) motor families.
