The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RLB2-114KEB cable is part of the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It serves as a dedicated power link that transfers a three-phase supply and protective ground between a synchronous motor and a compatible inverter. By carrying motor phase current while withstanding continuous flexing inside energy chains, the cable supports motion axes in industrial automation cells, packaging equipment, material-handling systems, and other applications with repetitive movement.
The cable has a conductor cross section of 25 mm², which keeps copper resistance low when supplying medium-frame synchronous motors. Its internal geometry uses a conductor layout of 4 × 25 mm² + 4 × 1.5 mm²; the larger conductors carry the three phases and protective ground, while the smaller auxiliary conductors can supply brake or sensor circuits. The mechanical service life is rated at 5,000,000 cycles of continuous energy-chain travel. Dynamic routing requires a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D to prevent excessive stress on the conductors and insulation during repeated movement. For fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, permitting tighter routing through stationary trays and control cabinets. The cable insulation provides the dielectric strength needed for power transmission in standard industrial environments.
The cable is compatible with the ctrlX DRIVE platform and supports motors in the MS2(X) series. At the motor end, the conductors terminate in a sealed C (M50) terminal box, eliminating the need for an intermediate adapter harness. The power run uses a direct connection between the drive and motor, so junction boxes are not required along the cable path. This arrangement reduces the number of connection points that may be exposed to vibration, contamination, or mechanical strain. The cable assembly also fits suitable drag-chain carriers used for continuously moving machine axes.
