Product Description:
The RLB2-102GDB motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RLB Motor Power Cables series. Designed for industrial servo applications, the cable carries three-phase power and auxiliary supply conductors in a single sheath, simplifying machine wiring. It connects compatible synchronous servomotors and drive inverters without requiring separate harnesses for the motor, temperature sensor, and brake circuits. The cable also withstands repetitive movement inside energy chains while maintaining consistent voltage delivery during rapid acceleration.
The conductor arrangement is 4 × L + 4 × 1.0 mm² + 2 × 1.5 mm², providing separate paths for the main phases and auxiliary circuits. Its leakage capacitance is 0.5 nF/m, which minimizes reactive charging currents and reduces the electrical load associated with long cable runs. The cable has an outer diameter of 18.2 mm, allowing it to fit standard energy-chain inserts and routing supports. In permanently installed applications, the copper conductors can operate at temperatures up to +90 °C. The PUR jacket resists abrasion, oil, and coolant commonly encountered around machine tools and automated production equipment.
Under continuous drag-chain movement, the conductor temperature must remain below +80 °C to protect the insulation from premature deterioration. The outer jacket is RAL 2003 orange, making the cable easy to identify when routed alongside control, feedback, and communication wiring. The Basic design places the assembly within the Rexroth Cables product group and supports dynamic use in industrial automation systems. The cable is compatible with ctrlX DRIVE amplifiers and MS2(X) motors, providing the required electrical interface for these devices.
