The RLB2-102ECB is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It connects MS2(X) servo motors to field junction boxes in installations that use ctrlX DRIVE inverters, supplying three-phase power to moving machine axes. Its flexible sheath supports routing through confined machine spaces where repeated movement is common. The cable also provides a structured connection path between the motor and the junction point, reducing the amount of field assembly required for automated equipment.
This model has a basic insulation structure and belongs to the power cable group for motor-to-junction connections. The conductor arrangement is 4 × L + 4 × 1.0 mm², with the four larger power conductors having a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm² each. This arrangement carries motor power while providing smaller conductors for associated electrical connections within the same cable assembly. The cable has a rated service life of 5 million bending cycles, making it suitable for cable carriers and other continuously moving routes. During motion, the cable must maintain a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D to prevent excessive mechanical stress on the conductors and insulation. It is supplied as a ready-made cable assembly with terminated ends, reducing the need for cutting, stripping, and crimping during installation.
In stationary sections, the cable must maintain a minimum bend radius of 5 × D to protect the internal conductors when secured to tracks or machine frames. The permitted temperature range begins at -30 °C and extends to 80 °C during operation and storage. This range allows the cable to be routed near motors and drives that generate moderate heat while also supporting use in colder industrial locations. On the motor side, the power conductors terminate in a T (M32) terminal box that matches the intended Rexroth motor interface. The opposite end is prepared for connection to the corresponding ctrlX DRIVE system hardware, allowing the cable to link the servo motor, field junction box, and drive-side wiring without additional conductor preparation.
