The RL2-067JBB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links 2nd-generation Rexroth servo drives to matching motors, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary conductors while withstanding repetitive motion inside cable carriers found in industrial automation.
This cable can survive more than > 5,000,000 bending cycles, so drag-chain installations do not shorten service life. A conductor cross section of 16.0 mm² keeps voltage drop low and supports continuous currents associated with robotics and gantry axes. The power cores are rated for 600/1000 V, giving headroom for common 400 V or 480 V DC-bus systems. Mechanical protection is provided by a PUR outer jacket in the industry-standard orange RAL 2003, resisting coolants and abrasion. Connection on the motor end is handled by an M58 Power Connector, simplifying plug-and-play replacement during maintenance. When the cable is fixed in place, copper conductors may reach up to 90 °C without degrading insulation or jacket compounds.
Dynamic routing requires a minimum radius of 7.5xD, allowing tight loops while preventing shield or core damage, whereas stationary sections can be bent to 5xD. During continual motion the temperature limit drops to 80 °C, matching the thermal profile of moving machine axes. Electrical integrity is supported by insulation resistance greater than > 20 MΩ/km at 20 °C, helping drives maintain fault-free leakage monitoring across long cable runs.
