The RL2-067JBB cable is a motor power lead manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the dedicated supply link between a cabinet-mounted servo drive and a second-generation IndraDrive motor, carrying both three-phase power and low-level signals through dynamic machine axes. By matching the electrical, thermal, and mechanical parameters required by Rexroth motion equipment, the cable helps maintain predictable voltage drop, electromagnetic behavior, and conductor temperature. Its flexible design also supports continuous movement inside cable chains used in automated machinery.
Its conductor set is arranged as 4 × L + 4 × 0.75 mm², a layout that separates the high-current lines from the smaller signal cores inside a common jacket. Each power core has a cross-sectional area of 16.0 mm², limiting resistive losses when the drive delivers peak current to the motor. Insulation resistance remains above 20 MΩ/km at 20 °C, so leakage current through the dielectric remains negligible over long cable runs. A durable PUR outer sheath in orange RAL 2003 protects the conductor bundle against oil and abrasion while maintaining flexibility. Under fixed routing conditions, the copper can reach 90 °C without exceeding its thermal class.
Dynamic routing is supported for more than 5,000,000 bending cycles when the flexible-use radius of 7.5 × D is observed. A tighter loop is permitted only for stationary bends, where the minimum radius is 5 × D. The factory-attached M58 power connector mates directly with standardized Rexroth motor sockets, eliminating field termination and simplifying installation. Power conductors are rated for 600/1000 V, while the integrated signal wires can carry up to 450/750 V. This arrangement allows power and signal conductors to share one cable jacket without requiring separate harnesses.
