The RL2-044EBB is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. The RL2-044EBB follows the Basic cable design and uses a 4 × L layout with four additional 0.75 mm² auxiliary conductors. Each power conductor has a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm², helping limit voltage drop over medium-length runs. A factory-installed M40 power connector attaches to the motor and eliminates the need for field crimping at that end. The open controller end fits standard cabinet glands and can be cut to the required installation length. The cable is compatible with IndraDrive converters and connects directly to MS2x motors with Plug V from the second generation. For moving-axis applications, the jacket supports a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D. This radius helps maintain the conductor arrangement during repetitive movement in cable carriers, gantries, and robotic systems.

Fixed routing permits a tighter static bending radius of 5 × D, allowing the cable to follow compact paths where continuous movement is not expected. The thermoplastic sheath tolerates ambient temperatures from -30 to +80 °C during operation and storage. Its rated service life is 5,000,000 bending cycles, making it suitable for repetitive motion in pick-and-place gantries and palletizing robots. The Basic sheath formulation provides abrasion resistance while remaining easy to strip during termination. Because this product is a power cable, it does not contain feedback pairs, so feedback wiring must be routed separately from the three-phase power and auxiliary conductors.
