The RL2-004CBB is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links an inverter output to second-generation Rexroth synchronous motors, carrying phase current and protective conductors through a compact assembly rated for drag-chain use. Within an automation cell, the cable maintains stable power delivery during continuous motion, allowing machines to position axes accurately without excessive voltage drop or mechanical stress on the terminations.
The cable uses the basic construction standard for the series. It contains four power cores and four control conductors arranged in a 4 × L + 4 × 0.75 mm² configuration. Each main conductor has a cross-sectional area of 1.0 mm², providing a low-loss connection for small servo axes. At the drive end, an M17 threaded connector (Plug D) provides a keyed interface that withstands vibration. Dynamic routing requires a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, whereas fixed installations may use a minimum bend radius of 5 × D.
