Product Description:

The RKL4806 is a motor-power lead manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It carries three-phase energy and auxiliary control signals between IndraDrive amplifiers and synchronous motors, allowing coordinated motion in automated lines, gantries, and robotic axes where compact routing and continuous movement are required.

The cable is qualified for more than 5,000,000 bending cycles, so it withstands repetitive articulation in energy chains without conductor fatigue. When installed in a static tray it only needs a minimum bend of 5xD, while dynamic runs inside drag chains must respect a wider loop of 7.5xD to avoid compression of the copper cores. Overall diameter is limited to 10.0 mm, allowing dense cable bundles in narrow carriers and control cabinets. These parameters ensure reliable current delivery under constant acceleration and reversal.

The outer sheath is tinted RAL 2003 (Orange) for quick identification and is moulded from abrasion-resistant PUR, giving oil and coolant resistance on machining centres. Four power conductors of 4x0.75 mm² transmit motor phase currents up to the rated load, while a pair of shielded 0.5 mm² control cores supports temperature sensors or brakes. Nominal insulation levels reach 300/500 V for the power group and 300/300 V for the signal pair, maintaining clear separation inside shared conduit systems. The design is approved for drag-chain use, and service temperature can rise to 80 °C without jacket softening or insulation breakdown.

Wake Industrial stocks this cable, offers same-day shipping when schedules are tight, and keeps every quotation valid for 30 days to simplify MRO budgeting.
