The RKL4784 is a finished motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied with factory-assembled connectors on both ends and is intended to link an Indramat servo drive to its matched servo motor in automated machinery. By combining power and auxiliary control conductors in a single flexible jacket, the cable simplifies routing inside moving machine axes while maintaining the electrical integrity demanded by high-performance drive systems.
Mechanical durability is provided by a rated service life of 5,000,000 flex cycles, measured with a dynamic bending radius of 7.5xD. Four dedicated power cores each use copper conductors of 35.0 mm², limiting line losses to a resistance of 0.554 Ohm/km. The overall outside diameter is 30.8 mm, and a tough PUR outer jacket guards against cutting fluids and abrasion. At the inverter end, the cable terminates in connector RLS0727/K35. Electrical performance for motor commutation is supported by a discharge capacitance of 1.2 nF per metre, helping the drive maintain switching edge fidelity. Power conductors are accompanied by a separate protective conductor to complete the PE circuit.
The motor side is pre-fitted with connector RLK1301/K35, and four auxiliary control cores are provided, each having a cross-section of 1.5 mm² to carry brake release or sensor signals. These control conductors share the cable bundle but are separately shielded to limit crosstalk. Installation in stationary segments is possible down to a static bend radius of 5xD. Together, the matched connector pair, duplicate conductor count on both power and control circuits, and the specified bending parameters allow repeatable motion of linear gantries and rotary tables without premature cable failure.
