The RKL4780 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an Indramat drive controller to a servomotor and carries both power and auxiliary control signals, enabling coordinated motion in automated machinery that demands continuous movement and frequent axis reversals.

The cable delivers motor current through conductors with a cross-section of 35.0 mm², while separate control cores rated at 1.5 mm² handle brake or sensor lines. Inside the jacket there are 8 individual copper conductors arranged to limit mutual interference and simplify termination. A moulded polyurethane sheath made of PUR protects the bundle from cutting fluids and oil exposure, and keeps the overall diameter to 30.8 mm. Installation in static trays requires a minimum bend of 5×D, and dynamic routing on cable chains may follow a tighter 7.5×D radius without exceeding permissible strain. The controller interface uses a prefabricated RLS0727/K35 plug, whereas the motor end is fitted with an RLK1501 connector that locks to Indramat drive motors.

Line-to-line capacitance is held to 1.2 nF/m so the connected drive can maintain stable pulse-width modulation at long cable lengths.
