The RKL4776 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an RLK1301 motor connector to an RLS0721/K16 drive terminal, carrying three-phase supply and auxiliary control cores in one assembly. In industrial automation this arrangement supplies regulated current to the actuator while the additional pairs accommodate brake release or temperature leads, so cabinet wiring can stay compact even on moving cable-chain axes.
The cable core follows a composite design of 4x16.0 mm² + 2x(2x1.5 mm²), giving four power conductors and four smaller control conductors inside one sheath. Each 16 mm² copper power core has a calculated resistance of 1.21 Ω/km at 20 °C, limiting voltage drop on long plant runs. For motion routing the minimum bend radius is 7.5xD, while fixed installation may use a tighter 5xD curve without exceeding mechanical stress limits. The overall diameter measures 25.5 mm, allowing accurate sizing of carrier channels and cable glands. An orange RAL 2003 outer colour identifies live power circuits, and the PUR jacket resists solvents typical of machining cells.
Service life is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, covering multi-year duty in gantry or pick-and-place systems. Every control core retains a 1.5 mm² cross section to match standard sensor current levels. The controller side uses the RLS0721/K16 plug, giving direct mating to Rexroth inverters, while the opposite end is pre-fitted for the RLK1301 motor receptacle. A PUR outer sheath, combined with the specified conductor geometry, ensures consistent mechanical behaviour across repetitive dynamic movements.
