The RKL4760 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an IndraDrive or similar controller to a synchronous or induction motor, carrying phase power and auxiliary signals without additional field wiring. In automated cells, the assembly speeds installation and preserves shielding continuity between the drive cabinet and the motor housing.

The cable carries three phase conductors plus a protective earth conductor, each sized at 4.0 mm², and is rated for a continuous phase-to-phase voltage of 600 V AC. Voltage drop is limited by a conductor resistance of 4.95 Ω/km, helping drives maintain torque over long cable runs. During motion, the jacket endures repeated bending when the bend radius remains above 7.5 × D; fixed routing permits a minimum bend radius of 5 × D. Two auxiliary pairs are embedded for brake release and temperature sensors. The first auxiliary pair has conductors sized at 1.0 mm², while the second has conductors sized at 1.5 mm². A matte, adhesion-free PUR sheath resists oil and weld spatter while keeping friction low in drag-chain guides. The cable supports continuous movement at conductor temperatures up to +80 °C near warm motors.

At the drive cabinet, the cable terminates in an RLS1202/C04 angled plug, while the motor end is equipped with an RLK1301 bayonet coupler that matches Rexroth field-wiring connections. The underlying bulk cable carries the code INK0603 and has a specific capacitance of 0.8 nF/m between the conductors and shield, limiting reactive current at high switching frequencies. All cores have a 600 V AC insulation level for control and power circuits. When secured in a fixed installation along the machine frame, the permitted conductor temperature rises to +90 °C. This higher temperature limit supports routing near gearboxes or brakes where surrounding components may generate additional heat.
