The RKL4746 is a pre-terminated motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It connects servo drives to synchronous motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase power along with auxiliary control signals so the controller can monitor temperature or brake status while the motor receives drive current. By combining power and auxiliary circuits in one assembly, the cable reduces the need for separate harness runs between the cabinet and the moving axis.
The cable follows UL AWM style 20234 and is built from bulk type INK0668 cores that include four power conductors with a cross-section of 50.0 mm². At 20 °C, the copper has a longitudinal resistance of 0.386 Ω/km, which helps limit voltage drop over long runs and reduce heat buildup during continuous current transfer. In dynamic routing systems, the assembly withstands drag-chain acceleration up to 10 m/s² without conductor fatigue, supported by an abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket that also resists cutting oils and coolant spray.
