The RKL4729 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is designed to link a drive controller to a servomotor, carrying main phase current as well as auxiliary brake and sensor signals so the motion axis can be energized and monitored inside an automated cell. The molded connectors at both ends reduce assembly time and help maintain shielding integrity, making the cable suitable for factory installations that require consistent electrical characteristics along the entire power feed.

For moving machine members, the cable supports a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D, while fixed routing can use a smaller static radius of 5 × D; these limits indicate the minimum bend radius that avoids conductor fatigue during motion and at rest. Its bulk material code is INK0667, which identifies the base cable used in the assembly. The copper cores have a conductor resistance of 0.554 Ω/km, allowing drive-sizing calculations to account for voltage drop over long runs. A controller-side angled plug identified as RLS0723/K35 terminates the power conductors and shield. The internal layout consists of four 35 mm² conductors and two twisted, shielded pairs of 1.5 mm² conductors, allowing the cable to carry motor power and auxiliary brake or sensor signals. The cable is approved for drag-chain use, allowing it to withstand the repeated bending associated with continuously moving machine axes.

At the motor end, a keyed circular connector of type RLK1301 locks to standard Rexroth housings and seals the interface against oil spray. The outer jacket is colored RAL 2003 (orange) for high visibility when routed inside cabinets, and its PUR compound resists coolants while remaining flexible at low temperatures. The insulation system is halogen-free, reducing the release of corrosive gases during a short-circuit fire and supporting plant safety requirements.
