Product Description:

The RKL4724 cable is a ready-made motor power connection produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo controllers to rotary or linear motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase supply power, protective earth, and auxiliary signals in a single sheath. By delivering preassembled connectors and verified conductor sizing, the assembly reduces wiring time on the factory floor and assures electrical compatibility with IndraDrive and third-party drives that accept the designated interface set.

The RKL4724 contains 8 conductors arranged to separate power phases, protective earth, and two pairs of auxiliaries. Each phase path and the PE path use copper cores of 10.0 mm², providing a current-carrying capacity suitable for medium-frame synchronous motors. The auxiliaries on pins five and six are limited to 1.0 mm², supporting temperature sensors or brake releases without oversizing the bundle. Bosch Rexroth supplies the cable as bulk material type INK0605, then cuts and terminates it to length, preserving the original shielding and outer jacket properties. Flexing behaviour in cable chains is aided by a dynamic minimum bend of 7.5xD, preventing conductor fatigue during high-speed axis motion.

At rest the installation can adopt a tighter bend of 5xD, useful when routing the harness through compact cabinets. The motor end is equipped with the round hybrid connector RLK1301, while the controller side terminates in the rectangular plug RLS0721; this matched pair removes the need for field crimping and guarantees pin continuity. Mechanical service life is rated for 5,000,000 cycles, so repeated traverses in energy-chain systems will not compromise insulation or shielding. The PE core is marked GNYE for immediate visual identification during maintenance.
