The RKL4716 cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series and is intended to supply drive power from a controller to a moving motor in automated equipment. By combining power cores, auxiliary conductors, and rugged insulation in one flexible assembly, the cable maintains reliable energy transfer while withstanding continuous motion inside drag-chain systems found on gantries, pick-and-place units, and linear stages.

The three power cores have a cross-section of 3x2.5 mm² + PE 2.5 mm², providing ample ampacity for medium-frame servomotors while including a dedicated protective earth. A circular outside diameter of 14.8 mm balances current capacity with routing ease through tight raceways. Visibility and safety are enhanced by the jacket’s RAL 2003 (Orange) color, and the outer sheath is molded from abrasion-resistant PUR to tolerate coolants, oils, and repeated flexing without cracking.

Four signal leads sized at 4x1.0 mm² carry brake or temperature sensor circuits, eliminating the need for a second harness. The cable is rated for up to 5,000,000 bending cycles in drag-chain duty, reducing replacement intervals on high-throughput machinery.
