The RKL4715 is a ready-made motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This harness carries three phase lines, protective earth, and auxiliary cores between a drive controller and a motor terminal box, forming the fixed power link in automated axes. By combining power and control conductors in one jacket, the assembly simplifies installation in articulated or linear machinery.
In the power group the cable provides 3P+PE conductors, each with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², giving adequate current capacity for typical small to mid-frame servo motors. Four auxiliary pairs support encoder voltage or brake release lines; these 4 extra cores use a reduced 0.75 mm² cross-section to limit bundle diameter. During static routing the sheath can be bent to a minimum radius of 5xD, so cabinet terminations may be placed close to hinges or gland plates without stressing the copper.
