The RKL4627 power lead is a factory-assembled cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It carries drive output current from an Indramat servo amplifier to a synchronous or induction motor in automated machinery. Its preterminated conductors match the manufacturer’s drive and motor interfaces, helping prevent field-wiring errors and simplify installation. The cable also supports motion axes that operate continuously in flexing cable chains, including those used in machining centers, palletizers, and material-handling systems.
This cable is rated for 5,000,000 flexing cycles, providing a long operating life in energy-chain applications. During dynamic motion, the conductors can bend to a minimum radius of 7.5 × D, which keeps the internal copper strands within their permitted bending range. A fixed installation permits a minimum bend radius of 5 × D, allowing tighter cabinet routing without compressing or damaging the conductors. The minimum operating temperature is -30 °C, supporting cold starts in unheated industrial environments. The maximum operating temperature is 80 °C under full load, and the insulation and jacket materials retain their dielectric properties throughout the permitted temperature range.
