The RKL4622 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links drive controllers to synchronous or asynchronous motors in automated cells, providing both mains power and integrated control conductors so that a single routed bundle covers the electromechanical needs of the axis. This arrangement simplifies cabinet wiring, shortens installation time, and maintains signal integrity under continual motion.
The cable carries four power cores with a cross-section of 4×25.0 mm², allowing substantial phase current while limiting voltage drop over long runs. Two twisted control pairs are embedded, each rated at 2×(2×1.5 mm²), which support brake release or thermal sensor circuits without an external harness. A low-impedance tinned-copper braid forms a total shield around all conductors, keeping conducted and radiated noise within EMC limits.
