The RKL4605 power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for moving machine members, it delivers three-phase motor power from in-cabinet drives to field-mounted servomotors while withstanding tight routing inside cable tracks common to packaging, printing, and assembly equipment. Its matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket helps prevent stick-slip in bundles and resists coolants and common oils, therefore maintaining electrical continuity during prolonged service life.
It survives up to 5,000,000 dynamic bending cycles, a rating that matches long-life energy chain duty. When laid immobile it may be bent to a minimum radius of 5 x D; during reciprocating motion the limit shifts to 7.5 x D, keeping conductor strain below fatigue thresholds. The outer sheath measures 17.0 mm in diameter, so chain separators and gland fittings can be sized correctly. Four 4.0 mm² copper cores form the power group, and the loop resistance of those conductors is 4.95 Ω/km at 20 °C, a value that supports low voltage drop over typical machine runs.
