The RKL4601 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo controllers to moving motors, carrying mains power together with auxiliary control circuits. Stranded copper conductors and a polyurethane jacket let the cable operate continuously inside drag-chain carriers found on gantries, packaging lines, and pick-and-place axes.

It contains four power cores with 4x1.5 mm² cross section, yielding a loop resistance of 13.3 Ohm/km to be considered in voltage-drop calculations. Two twisted control pairs of 2x(2x0.75 mm²) are integrated for brake or sensor signals, removing the need for a separate cable. All copper strands are finely bunched to raise strand count, which improves flex life and minimizes skin-effect losses at drive switching frequencies. Under dynamic motion the assembly survives 5,000,000 bending cycles when the radius stays at 7.5xD; for fixed routing a 5xD radius is sufficient.
