The RKL4592 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed as a fixed or flexible link between IndraDrive controllers and synchronous motors, it transmits three-phase power and auxiliary control voltages while tolerating continuous movement inside machine enclosures. Its mechanical service life supports the repetitive duty cycles found in pick-and-place modules, gantries, and other drag-chain installations.

The cable carries phase and auxiliary circuits through a conductor configuration of 4 × 6.0 mm² + 2 × 1.0 mm² + 2 × 1.5 mm², allowing motor power, brake power, and protective grounding to share a single jacket without excessive interference. The copper conductors have a loop resistance of 3.30 Ω/km, which limits voltage drop over long machine runs. During dynamic routing, the assembly can bend around radii as small as 7.5 × D and has a service life of 5 million flex cycles, making it suitable for high-stroke drag chains. Its capacitance per unit length is 0.8 nF/m, which supports calculations for drive-side filters and capacitive reactive current.

For stationary cable layouts, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, while the drag-chain-approved jacket withstands repeated gliding abrasion during movement. The core insulation and sheath are made from PUR, and the exterior uses RAL 2003 (orange) for clear identification in crowded cable trays. Bulk cable type INK0604 is cut to the required length before the ends are prepared. The controller side receives an RLS0721 quick-lock connector, while the motor side is fitted with ferrules and a ring terminal for secure grounding. These terminations support efficient cabinet installation and preserve the shielding continuity needed to control electromagnetic interference.
