The RKL4570 is a ready-made power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the main supply link between a drive controller and a motor terminal box, carrying three-phase power and control signals in one assembly. This integration simplifies installation tasks inside automated machines, reduces cabinet space, and supports coordinated motion sequences by providing both high-current conductors and auxiliary pairs in a single, factory-terminated line.
The jacket supports a continuous operating voltage of 600 V AC, so it matches the output range of standard Rexroth inverters without additional insulation measures. Each power core has a cross-section of 16.0 mm², giving the cable the ampacity required for medium-frame servo motors, while the two twisted control pairs use a smaller 1.5 mm² conductor to transmit temperature or brake signals. Overall outside diameter is 25.5 mm, a dimension that determines minimum bend radius and conduit sizing during machine layout. Copper conductors exhibit a resistance of only 1.21 Ω/km, limiting voltage drop over extended runs and keeping drive efficiency high.
The multicore layout follows a 4x16.0 + 2x(2x1.5) StC scheme, combining shielded control pairs with earth-referenced power wires to minimise electromagnetic interference.
