The RKL4544 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo drive installations, the assembly carries three-phase power and auxiliary control signals between inverters and synchronous motors while tolerating continuous movement in cable carriers used on pick-and-place systems, gantries, and machining centers. Its polyurethane outer jacket and finely stranded conductors create a flexible but durable connection that minimizes electrical loss and mechanical wear in high-cycle industrial automation applications.

The overall cable diameter measures 29.8 mm, a dimension that affects gland selection and routing space inside moving cable chains. Each phase conductor has a cross-sectional area of 25.0 mm², providing ample copper area to limit heating at peak servo currents. Brake or sensor lines are routed through separate cores with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm², helping prevent control voltage drop over long runs. Electrical resistance is limited to 0.78 Ω/km at 20 °C, supporting accurate drive current regulation. The line-to-shield capacitance is 1.1 nF/m, which helps maintain clean pulse-width-modulated waveforms by keeping common-mode displacement currents predictable.

The cable has a mechanical service life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, making it suitable for continuous flexing in industrial machinery.
