It is a motor-side power lead with total shielding that links drives to synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery, providing the low-impedance path required for phase current and protective earth conductors.
The cable carries four phase cores rated at 4x4.0 mm², giving adequate cross-section for medium-power servo axes. A circular outside diameter of 17.0 mm simplifies routing through cable chains and control cabinets. For screened termination the factory assigns an EMC gland size of M32 × 1.5, ensuring strain relief and 360-degree shield contact. Dynamic durability is shown by a flex life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, and stationary installation only requires a minimum bend radius of 85 mm. Internally, the conductor and shield construction match bulk cable type INK0603 so that replacement or extension sections can be spliced from standard reel stock.
When the harness moves, the minimum bend radius expands to 127.5 mm to keep copper strands and insulation within elastic limits. The conductors may operate continuously up to 80 °C, allowing proximity to brake resistors and other warm components without premature ageing. A robust outer jacket of PUR resists oils, coolants and abrasion, while its Orange (RAL 2003) colour and the matte low-adhesion surface finish maintain visibility and help prevent debris from sticking inside drag-chain channels.
