The RKL4502 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It forms the electrical link between a Rexroth drive controller and a servomotor, conveying three-phase power, protective earth, and auxiliary control signals required in automated cells. By combining power and feedback conductors within one sheath, the cable simplifies routing in drag-chains and ensures EMC compliance in industrial automation lines.

With an outer diameter of 17.0 mm, the cable houses four power cores each sized 4×4.0 mm² including the PE conductor to serve torque-dense servo loads. These cores operate up to 300/500 V, while two signal pairs are limited to 300/300 V for brakes or sensors. During robotic motion the design remains within specification when bent to a radius of 7.5×D. Additional control conductors of 1.0 mm² and 1.5 mm² provide separate circuits without enlarging the bundle.

For stationary cabinet runs the minimum bend radius can be reduced to 5×D, assisted by a PUR outer jacket that resists coolants and abrasion while its RAL 2003 orange colour maintains machine-safety coding. Fixed installations withstand ambient temperatures from -30 to +40 °C, and flexible chains may operate down to ‑20 °C; conductor insulation tolerates continuous core temperatures of +80 / +90 °C for flex and fixed use. The bulk designation INK0603 identifies a low-capacitance construction that limits leakage current at high PWM frequencies. Factory-pressed connectors RLK0003 for the motor and RLS0722/K04 for the controller keep shielding intact during assembly.
