The RKL4502 motor power cable is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It transfers three-phase power and auxiliary signals between an Indramat drive controller and a compatible synchronous motor while maintaining low impedance across the required cable length. The motor end is factory-fitted with an RLK0003 motor plug, and the controller end has an RLS0722/K04 plug, allowing connection to compatible Rexroth drive equipment without field termination or separate connector kits.
The circular sheath has an external diameter of 17.0 mm and encloses a 4 × 4.0 mm² conductor layout for the motor phases and protective ground. Two auxiliary conductor groups use 2 × 1.0 mm² and 2 × 1.5 mm² conductors for temperature sensors or brake-release lines. The power cores are rated for 300/500 V, while the auxiliary conductors have a 300/300 V control limit, allowing high-energy and low-energy circuits to remain separated within the same jacket. During fixed routing, the cable can withstand a bend radius of 5 × D without mechanical damage, which allows the cable to be routed through confined cabinet spaces. The conductor arrangement also keeps the power, protective-ground, and auxiliary circuits organized throughout the cable assembly.
A dynamic installation requires a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, allowing continuous movement in cable carriers without excessive conductor fatigue. The durable PUR outer jacket is RAL 2003 orange and resists cutting oils and weld spatter. During flexible operation, the jacket maintains its dielectric properties from -20 °C through +40 °C. When the cable is secured in a stationary run, the permissible ambient temperature range extends to -30 to +40 °C. The conductor insulation tolerates an operating temperature of +80 °C during movement and +90 °C in fixed installations, supporting power transmission and auxiliary signal integrity under the permitted routing conditions.
