The RKL4501 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for automated equipment in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It carries drive output to compatible servo or induction motors in machine tools, packaging systems, material-handling equipment, and other industrial applications. Feedback and control conductors are accommodated within the same jacketed assembly, simplifying cable routing through machine frames and control cabinets. This combined arrangement reduces the number of separate cable runs required between the drive and motor while keeping the conductors protected inside a durable outer sheath.
The cable carries line power up to 600 VAC through four core conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm². A polyurethane outer sheath limits abrasion and coolant absorption, making the cable suitable for demanding routes near moving machinery. Its overall diameter is 14.8 mm, allowing it to fit common cable chains, support clamps, and cable glands. Dynamic applications require a minimum bending radius of 7.5 × D, and the cable has a rated service life of 5,000,000 cycles under repeated flexing. Fixed installations permit a minimum bending radius of 5 × D, allowing the same cable to be placed in static trays when continuous movement is not required.
