Bosch Rexroth Indramat offers the RKL4454 cable in its RKL Motor Power Cables series. The assembly integrates power and auxiliary conductors within a single flexible sheath. Because both circuit groups are combined in one cable, it supports organized routing between an IndraDrive amplifier and a synchronous servo motor. By combining factory-terminated connector hardware with matched conductor geometry, the product supports consistent current delivery in packaging lines, gantry axes, and material-handling stations.

With an outer diameter of 22.2 mm, the cable fits compact routing trays, while its PUR jacket is adhesion-free and matte so it can slide smoothly against neighboring hoses. The surface is colored RAL 2003 orange for quick identification on a plant floor. For static installation, it tolerates a minimum bend radius of 5 × D, and in moving drag chains the limit is 7.5 × D so the conductors are not overstressed. Qualified for drag-chain service, the design withstands 5 million bending cycles at accelerations up to 10 m/s², enabling high-speed pick-and-place stages. A total shield encloses the core bundle to block external electromagnetic fields and maintain signal integrity.

Four phase conductors sized 4×10.0 mm² deliver main motor current, while the control leads of 2×1.0 + 2×1.5 mm² carry brake release and temperature signals so the drive can monitor the axis in real time. This arrangement allows one cable run to handle motor power together with the auxiliary connections needed during operation. Voltage endurance is rated at 300/500 V, matching standard IndraDrive inverters and helping prevent insulation breakdown under repetitive pulse-width modulation. An INS0623 molded connector terminates the cable and provides keyed locking with strain relief for vibration-prone assemblies. The PUR jacket, total shielding, and the high-strand-count conductors help limit triboelectric charge and reduce electrical noise during motion.
