Product Description:

The RKL4416 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Intended for servo drive installations, it routes three-phase power and auxiliary reference conductors between control cabinets and moving axes while enduring the mechanical and chemical stresses found in automated production lines. Its design allows reliable energy transfer without introducing unacceptable electromagnetic interference to adjacent control wiring.

Under static routing the cable may be bent to a minimum radius of 5 x D; in dynamic carriers the limit increases to 7.5 x D to reduce cyclic copper fatigue. The outer sheath is coloured RAL 2003 orange for quick visual identification, and the matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket resists oils, weld spatter, and coolant splash. These mechanical characteristics allow integration into drag-chain guides and narrow machine frames without premature jacket wear.

Internally the conductor set follows the schema 4x10.0 mm² + 2x(1.0 mm²)StC + 2x(1.5 mm²)StC, separating high-current phases from shielded control pairs to minimise crosstalk. DC resistance at 20 °C is only 1.91 Ω/km, limiting voltage drop even on extended runs. A cable capacitance of 1.0 nF/m keeps reactive load on the inverter manageable during high-frequency PWM switching. The dedicated power cores with a cross-section of 10.0 mm² carry continuous servo currents, the assembly is approved for drag-chain motion, and the specification notes it is not suited for torsional twist along robot wrist axes.

Wake Industrial offers international shipping options for plants outside North America. Same-day shipping can be arranged on qualifying orders to help restore production quickly. Every RKL4416 purchase is covered by a 1-year warranty.
